We watched a documentary about Texting & Driving from Werner Herzog via YouTube.  It is 30 minutes long and you took notes and then added your questions to the left column.

There are four stories - and have some tissues handy, unless you are a robot.

  

LAST Work Day

Today is the last day with class time to complete your Mandala Essay FINAL DRAFT.  Remember that it must be submitted via turnitin by 11:59 PM Tuesday - the system will NOT allow you to submit it late.  You must also submit a hard copy to us on Thursday (when we get to see one-another for 90 minutes).

For tomorrow, you will have to complete a Course-Teacher Success Profile, with a specific Course-Teacher assigned to you.  You will also read two selections that will be discussed as a Course Final on Thursday.  Yes, this means NO TRF!!!  The tutors will be available to help you process the Success Profiles and readings.

Remember that you have 5 days with no school, beginning Friday.  We are jealous.

If you were ABSENT (EXCUSED) on Friday, you can complete R&R 2.7 HERE.

Incident and R&R2.7

Your Autobiographical Incident Essay (FINAL DRAFT) is DUE TUESDAY at 11:59 PM - SUBMIT it into "Incident" when you are ready to do so.  You will have today in which to do what you can - reading reviews from your peers, completing your essay, or (hopefully) fixing up your first draft so it reads beautifully and you can submit it and no longer worry about it!  You may also have some time on Monday - but there is NO guarantee.

Regardless, you must FIRST COMPLETE REPORT & REFLECT 2.7 TODAY (Click link the appropriate below).  I believe you need to be logged into your school Google account in order to do so.

Peer Review Recap

You read the PeerMarks from your classmates and began re-writing your FINAL DRAFT of your Autobiographical Incident Paper.  The FINAL DRAFT is DUE MONDAY.  You will have class time on Friday to work on it, but do not expect more time.

Yes, we are ALL tired.  I saw Star Wars at 10:45 PM last night - I didn't get home until 1:30 AM and didn't sleep until after 3...then woke up at 6:45!  Poke me if I fall asleep.  We have a few things for you to do in class today.
SUBMIT your essay via turnitin.  You can resubmit a new version at any time - but you must have something submitted today.

You can use the rest of class time to finish your ROUGH DRAFT or other work - remember that Final Exams are NEXT WEEK.
PRINT OUT YOUR ROUGH DRAFT of this first Essay (Autobiographical Incident).
Turn THAT in to Grussing or Romo.
Tomorrow - You will PEERMARK 3-4 other essays.
This simply means you'll read through essays from your peers, mark it up, and insert comments.
Weds & Friday = Clean up your first draft into a FINAL DRAFT, which is DUE FRIDAY!
